◢ TRANSPARENCY

Editorial policy

The articles and news here are written by Jorge Graells. This is how they're prepared, where the facts come from and what to do if you spot a mistake.

Who writes

Everything published here goes out under my name and my responsibility. I write about what I know first-hand: cybersecurity, applied artificial intelligence and software development.

Where the facts come from

Every fact, figure or quote comes from a source you can check, and I link it in the text itself. Whenever it exists, I use the original source: the affected company's statement, the authority's advisory (INCIBE, CISA, FBI...) or the official document. If something can't be verified, it isn't published.

How news is handled

In news pieces I separate what's confirmed from what isn't known yet, and I don't attribute an attack to any person, group or country unless an official source has done so first. When there's news, I update the piece and the update date appears at the top.

Tools

I use digital tools, including artificial intelligence, to monitor sources, spot events and prepare drafts. None of them replaces checking: facts are verified against the original source before publishing.

Independence

I don't publish sponsored content or charge to appear in an article. When a piece mentions my training it's because the topic is related, and it's clear they're mine.

If you find a mistake or something that has changed, write to me. I'll review it and, where appropriate, correct it as soon as possible, and the update date will reflect it: dev.graells@gmail.com
